Pros and cons of Prepware Commercial Pilot app for iPhone and iPad

Prepware Commercial Pilot app good for

I have the books from ASA. I have a competing Windows product that requires Internet to function. This product allowed me to work on memorizing items needed for the written no matter where I was or if I had any connections. And it allowed me to run a practice test, but I needed the test supplement (which I have). Im now signed off to schedule and take the real one, because of being able to study when I could (very busy person who is on-call). I couldnt do that w/ the competitors product.
This app is OK but not complete. Some questions are missing info Like TAS without which the question cannot be answered. ASA needs to go through the questions again and clean up missing info. Also, in test mode there is no 2hr timer and there is no CX-2 computer built in.
My university uses prepware for preparing us for our written exams, and the mobile version of prepare is a great alternative to having to sit at a desk. I can study for my test wherever I go. I used the instrument version to help me prepare for the written, and now the commercial is helping me prepare.
When viewing figures, unable to return to the question due to missing back button. Please fix, ASAP. Thanks.
This series of ASA prepware is extremely useful. ASA does a great job of providing learning materials for FAA exams both digitally and on paper. Unfortunately the FAA does an efficient job of ruining their own tests by having faulty questions. I just took an exam where the answer claims that the sum of all lifting forces are equal to the sum of all downward forces on a descending aircraft. Either the Administrators had better fix these filthy mistakes or Im flat out wrong and should forfeit my Private certificate.
It did what its supposed to do...sure there were a few questions that were new...but they were of the same format, just different values.

Some bad moments

The app allows test or study mode. For me the study mode is what is important and what is woefully inadequate in this app. There is no ability to choose specific subject codes with which to study, nor the ability to vary the number of questions you want to study from that subject code. Save your money and choose one of the cheap apps for FAA testing.
This app simply under-delivers. Its a programmer s 5-minute hack job app. It just displays questions and gives answers, with pretty bad formatting in display in many cases. There is no way to save state! Theres no way to go back and focus on questions that you missed! Theres no history or flow. ASA should be ASHAMED. One can only hope they have a desire for pride and will deliver updates very quickly.
I just bought the Prepware app and the stem of the very first question I came across is incomplete. I would like my money back. Would NOT recommend.
Horrible... Lots on incomplete questions and answers, also exact repeats of some questions. Save your money and dont buy this!
Question bank and method of review is done well. However there needs to be a way to save progress or have the program remember what you have done. It would also be much better if you could track test progress. Until this is fixed I will not buy other ASA products since there are numerous free versions on the web.
I encountered a number of incomplete questions with missing graphics, incorrect spellings, incorrect answers e.g. that a beacon is REQUIRED for all operations, when the explanation refers to the AIM stating that a beacon is RECOMMENDED for all operations. How can you trust other questions and answers? Very poorly done ...
